If the program has detected the rig is not responding to commands, the Timeout counter (underneath the Clear Bank button) is incremented and flashes red.
This is usually caused by a cable connection problem, a miss-match in Comm speed between rig and PC, or the rig not being turned on.
If you wish, you can stop the program from continuously polling the rig for its current frequency/mode etc. From the Options menu choose the Polling popout and then choose No Polling. You can also select polling intervals from .2 of a second to 10 seconds.
FRG-100 and FT-1000MP users will find adjusting rig polling intervals to be beneficial due to the rigs' action of affecting the audio during CAT data transfer.
