The rigs do not contain any description information about the memories. The program does enable you to add description information and a Group identifying character, and this information is saved whenever you save a clone image to disk.
A separate file containing this information is saved, and is named the same as the clone image file but with 'dsc' added to the file suffix. So if you saved an image file called 'Texas repeaters.857' there would also be a description file created called 'Texas repeaters.857dsc'.
When you reload a previously saved disk file the associated descriptions file is automatically reloaded.
The Groups character is used in the CSV Memory file editor to facilitate creating subsets of your memory files.
